Denmark’s Fuzz Manta is 70s influenced riff rock following in the footsteps of their idols, Hendrix, Free, Purple and Joplin. Fuzz Manta is the kind of band that cites certain rock legends in their inspiration and those inspirations are apparent in their music. More importantly, the band has taken said inspiration and turned it into something new, a sound all their own. The blending of their influences, Beatles, Kyuss, Ritchie Blackmore, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Motorpsycho, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Jefferson Airplane and even Tool, gives the band a strong, solid sound that doesn't simply copy the music of others but give it their own attitude and personality. And there aren't enough females behind the mike in stoner bands anyway - and Lene (The Davolinas)  is very goodand so is the band.

Bottom line: If you're a fan of the people and bands that influence Fuzz Manta, you'll really like this band, despite the fact that they're (thankfully) not just another carbon copy.
