Heaven and Hell is a musical collaborator of Black Sabbath members (Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler) and former members Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice.
Their latest album “The Devil You Know” was released in April together with the single Bible black.
This last one sounds as a direct attack at the church (what always is a good subject in a metal lyrics). The song itself is like journey with a perfect balance of calm and harder pieces.
And those harder pieces have that “old school“ vibe like only the classics have. And let’s not forget the epic feeling of the song that pulls you in.
This is gonna be one hell of a hit single/album that will make a lot of knew fans and a lot of musicians want to cover this one, but then again who doesn’t want to play guitar like “founder of metal” guitar player Tony Iommi.
This is a must have and a band you have to see live. Let’s just hope that Ronnie James Dio finds a better tailor, last time he was wearing a glittery snake skin ensemble (but that’s the only downside).
