CD REVIEW Stormhammer

Band: Stormhammer

Label: Nightmare Records

Release date: 22/05/2009
Release: CD

StormHammer started in 1993 (under a different name). But with the release of their first CD “Fireball“ In 2000, the ball began to roll and is still rolling. Even now with their latest album called “Signs Of Revolution” they’re gonna make a lot of commotion. To be honest I was a bit scared this was going to be another lost glory band trying to make some cash. Luckily for us, I was wrong.
Do you remember when you we’re young how many times everybody said that you had to listen to your parents because they knew everything and you got sick of hearing it every time?
Well, this is a band/album that musicians should listen to because they can learn a lot of them.
The album is a nice classic old heavy metal disc like they only made in the good old days. A good combination of melodies, tight riffs and epic solos that keeps your attention untill the end.  The only downside is that this isn’t my favorite genre J.

This proves you’re never too old to rock

89/100
