Jeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaw, the first thing that comes to my mind upon hearing the first notes of the opening track “Saving me” from British rock legend UFO. After a waiting period of 3 years, UFO are about to unleash “The Visitor” (not counting the re-released albums).

And fortunately for us, they bring more than country music. Quickly the country makes room for more classic hard rock riffs and leads like only UFO can bring and they do It very good.
The album has a real blues and groovy rock feel and sounds powerful & timeless.
The more you hear the songs, the more you want to hit that repeat button. Phil Mogg’s (on vocals) warm voice pulls you closer in the music and than those beautiful solos finishes it of like a cherry on a pie. This is musicianship that makes me jealous I can’t play like that.
This is the first time I hear a UFO cd and after this, I want to see them live. Luckily for us the band will embark upon a great crusade this year, to bring you these new songs among their all-time classics.

92/100
