It’s been three long years sinds Zao’s last album and with this new release they want to conquer the metal scene once more.
But what is different on this CD? As always the songs sound as brutal as ever so the Zao fans won’t be disappointed, but with the new added melodic vocals as a supplement for singer Daniel Weandt’s screaming (as if his life depends on it), they reach a new level musicianship. The lyrics reshape a personal history about suicide, tragedy and death what always makes a good “from the heart” metal song (or cd) and whant to make you think.
Together with a good guitar/bass sound and a real tight kick ass drum this Pittsburgh band’s new cd will make a lot of new fans and will make the old fans really happy. This all mixed and produced by Scot mellinger (guitar/backing vocals) and Tim Lambesis and Daniel Castleman (As I lay dying) makes this a cd worth to add to your collection.
