Band : Heaven Shall Burn More dvd power comes this month out of Germany. They German power house of Heaven Shall burn didn’t what to do less than their American frinds so this dvd comes in all forms. From double disc to deluxe packaging with live cd. On the dvd we get a pretty good picture of how much progress they made the last year sine they released there smashing record ‘Iconoclast (Part One: The Final Resistance)’. On dvd 1, that’s called ‘Joel’ we get to see the Summer Breeze show of last year. It’s a very tight set that shows the profession skills of Heaven Shall Burn. Like a bulldozer the roll over the crowd. The extras are 4 clips en a one hour documentary that, according to the band, is totally different from all the other dvd’s that come out these days. It all start cool, like some kind of nature documentary but it changes very quick into an inside look on who is who and does what in the band and out side of it. Nothing shocking unless you think that the frontman and bassist their daily work is mind-blowing. On the second dvd, witch is called ‘Amarthius’, we get to see an indoor show filmed in Vienna. This one is even more impressive than the Summer Breeze footage. The impact the band causes when the open up with ‘Endzeit’ is astonishing. It’s also very clear that they stand their as one unit. Even their clothes are the same. 16 Songs is what we get and the images of the wall of death are amazing. Also some extras on this disc but not really shocking. But alone for the two live shows you should go a buy this powerful dvd-releases. 85/100 Stef Maes. |
