American rock band The Parlor Mobstarted out as a band called “What About Frank?” in 2004 and were playing with a more progressive rock based sound and toured around the u.s.a. But it wasn’t until 2006 that the band changed their name to The Parlor Mob.
Later on in the summer of 2007, The Parlor Mob signed with Roadrunner Records and in September they began the process of recording their first album under The Parlor Mob flag
And now finally the band released their first debut studio album called “And You Were a Crow”. And what an album to start their debut with. This isn’t what you would expect from a roadrunner records band and in that way it’s a nice new breeze freshening things up with good old raw rock ‘n roll like in the good old days but with a modern edge and nothing to cliché or to commercial.
A good, natural and balanced album anyone can enjoy.
90/100
