10 years of existence and 10 cd’s released, many in the music business can only dream of such an opportunity, few realize it like “At Vance”, a classic power metal band from Germany. But at what cost, only 1 remains from the original line up for the rest has been replaced (some more than one time).

At first At Vance may look like your ordinary power metal band, but when upon looking at their discography, you’ll notice where they get their inspiration, classical music. Over the years, (and their cd’s) the band has covered numerous classical tunes like the first movement of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and "Spring" and "Summer" from Vivaldi’s "The Four Seasons”, but in a more metal kind of way. This doesn’t make them more special than other bands, but it does show their musicianship.
In the end this is a fairly solid album with lots of variation that will appeal to many, but for me it looses a few points because it’s a bit to soft for me.

78/100
