Originally formed way back in the eighthies under the name of Bandit, and at that time mostly playing cover songs, a few years into their existence they began writing own songs, and mixing them in their live performance.
Stylewise, well, as the name would suggest it, they play retro, going back to the seventies and even sixties, playing harder rock mingled with blues influences, rather then hard rock.
At some point in their existence they disbanded, but were reformed in 2001 under the name Retro Nova.
This is their first ever CD ine their 20-years existence. The songs are not bad, but nothing out of the extraordinary. They are better suited for some music on the background, when you're lazing around, but they sure don't kick ass. Maybe when played live they sound bettter.
I would say these guys are good amateur musicians, but what they lack in my opinion is a good singer, although the vocals are handled by four different group members.
