Band: Insect Warfare This American horde does not exist anymore, but Earache is about to re-release World Extermination, originally released through 625 in 2007. This specific album breaths a thick motherf*ckin’ fog, filled with dirt, speed and ugliness, translated into twenty titles with a total running time of 22:28 minutes. Indeed, the Grindcore this band stands for is violence from the old school: ultra-fast, anti-social, punkish, uncompromising, straight-ahead and moshing. I guess bands as, especially, Brutal Truth were of influence, and because the actual result isn’t that bad at all (believe me, this almost equals the ‘purity’ of the early years - think Napalm Death, Terrorizer etc), you might know what to do. Originality = 0, creativity = 0, performance = +++. 83/100 Ivan Tibos. |
