The German metal combo Brainstorm have realeased their seventh album, "Memorial Roots".  I haven't followed the career of this band, thinking they were just another of the many metal bands coming from Germany, but at the first listening of this CD I was very surprised.  I'll try to explain myself.

The music itself is good metal, influenced at times by a dosis of Iron Maiden, but what surprised me the most was the quality of the vocalist Andy B. Franck.  He's like a copy of Rob Halford, but lacks the high pitch Rob can produce. The songs are well structured, even if they are not all of the same quality, some are just fillers. If you're into Judas Priest or Rob Halford, you should certainly give this a try.
