Horizonte De Sucesos features four tracks into deep space. The CD is an intricate journey and this Spanish trio have enough panache and flair of their own to leave a lasting impression. With all the classical space rock elements you’re used to :dreamlike Floydian guitarwaves, layers of Tangerine Dream/Kraftwerk synths, repetitive Can soundscapes, cosmic flows,… On four tracks, ranging in length from 4 minutes to 21-minutes in length, the three musicians weave a mesmerizing and hypnotic tapestry of sound. If you dig stretched out space voyages;  “Penembra difusa” (19.21), “C.C.C.P.” (19.53) and “Horizonte De Sucesos” (20.49)  easily find their way into the emerging fields of ambient, electronic music and kraut rock with waves of sounds, looping noises and that drifting loose groove that would come to characterize Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk and Neu. Heavy on guitarscreeching and a‘ rise to peak’-groove rhythm, synths sprinkles and electronic effects zipping around, “C.C.C.P.” is my fave.

Absolutely cosmic and completely mind massaging space rock.
