We have to go back to 2006 to pick up the track of Kevin Chalfant, it’s been that long since the man could be heard.  It’s actually really a shame since he has been involved in a lot of great albums like on the two albums The Storm made back in the early nineties, not to forget the two previous albums with Two Fires, the debut album ‘Two Fires’ in 2000, and the follow up album form 2002 ‘Ignition’.

The first impression I got while listening to this album was that this band could easily fill the gap left by Jouney when Steve Perry left the band.  They easily reach the musical heights Journey once had.
Even Kevin’s voice at times brings back memories to Steve Perry, and musically they tap from the same vein. It’s sublime AOR rock, well written and well performed.  Contrary to the previous Two Fires albums Josh Ramos also a former member of The Storm does no longer belong to the line-up of the group.  Instead Kevin opted to use his own live band, which was meant to enhance the ‘group’ feeling.

A must have for al fans of classic AOR.
