If you've enjoyed recent Anathema releases, chances are you'll also like “We're Here Because We're Here”. Similar to A Natural Disaster (2003) and A Fine Day To Exit (2001) in its vocals, clear production, melodious Floydian guitar lines.

When you listen to the record, you realize that the songs are key, but nevertheless the music is complimented by dense arrangements that engage the harmonious force that drives the record through its melodic build up. Though We're Here Because We're Herelacks more up-tempo songs and a little spark in the songs, Anathema just flows together with a visceral familiarity and ease. They are varied in their sound, yet consistent in their delivery.  Some people might complain that the music is overtly poppy or proggy, whatever. We're Here Because We're Here would definitely be considered easy listening by most metalhead’s standards, but Anathema’s music is not 'easy listening' as defined by corporate radio. level is Their eight studio album is mixed by Steven Wilson. The sound and production are great and both elements play a very important part in the overall impact of the disc. Fans of the band should note that three of the ten tracks have been released so far by the band through their website and Mysapce: "Angels Walk Among Us", "Everything" and "A Simple Mistake".

If you've liked Anathema’s other recent works, you won't be disappointed by We're Here Because We're Here.
