Dommin started in 2000, not that far away from Los Angeles, as the brainchild of Kristofer Dommin. Throughout the years he wrote lyrics and music, and throughout these very same years, he was able to find some same-minded persons to form a steady Dommin line-up. Finally the band recorded a full length studio album, Love Is Gone, based on love and loss in all its emotional perspectives.

Both music and lyrics combine those emotions with a poppy Rock-attitude. The Gothic-oriented songs are rather catchy, yet not too ‘easy’ either. Even though the whole breaths a certain level of romanticism, it certainly is dark, depressing and sad (or at least it is meant to be so).

Neo-romantic Goth / Pop / Rock, for fans of Type O Negative, I guess… Duration: 48:34 minutes.
