Band: Revocation With their Relapse-debut Existence Is Futile, Revocation shakes the Metal Worlds with pain and pleasure. The trio brings over forty seven minutes of razor-sharp and ultra-technical (yet not over-exaggerated) Thrash / Death Metal with a modern approach. The varying tracks are filled with sudden twists, lots of tempo-changes, a pounding groove, an extreme rhythm section, fiery guitar solos, thrashy screams and some experimental, progressive injections. Besides, the sound is skull-crushing, the production mind-blowing. Recommended to fans of everything between, let’s say, Pestilence (listen to the title track!!!), Necrophagist, Obscura and Death. Maybe just less inspiring??? 81/100 Ivan Tibos. |
