John MichaelOzzyOsbourne, a man who needs nod introduction, is an English singer/ songwriter that was born on 3 December 1948 and whose career has by now spanned five decades. Osbourne initially rose to prominence as the singer of the pioneering English heavy metal inventing band Black Sabbath, a band whose radically different, intentionally dark, doom sound spearheaded the heavy metal genre. In his subsequent solo career Osbourne achieved a more than once a platinum status in addition to the one he had earned with Black Sabbath. These things made Osbourne to become known as “The Godfather of Heavy Metal and/or “The Prince of Darkness”.

Of course there is so much more history to be told but than again this would be a never ending story due to the fact that the man is a legend in the music scene but also on tv. All those other legendary people he worked with like Rhandy Rhoads, Zakk Wylde, ….. The man even made his own festival. So much to talk about.
And now the man brings forth his latest album called Scream in collabaration with his new guitar player Gus G. and it’s something I didn’t expect. This time the music is less Heavy metal orientated but more Nu metal with lots of industrial elements. A big difference with previous work, but towards the end of the album there are more heavy metal elements and more guitar solos. So you definitely won’t be disappointed but it will feel a bit strange.
