Band: Deiphago
Title: Filipino Antichrist
Label: Hells Headbangers Records
Distribution: Hells Headbangers Records
Release date: 31/05/2010
Review: CD/MCD
Is it a full length or mini-album? Thirty minutes, what a world-shaking choice to make… Indeed, bla bla bla!
Deiphago originate from the Philippines, yet nowadays the members reside in Costa Rica. There’s a whole history behind it, but it isn’t of any importance right now. What is of importance is Filipino Antichrist, a recording that pays tribute to the Beast of the Underworlds, the Horned One. The rest isn’t but bla bla bla!
In fact this material was originally to be released in Autumn 2009, but now, with renewed interest, and bla bla bla…
The sound is really primitive without any decent effort to caress any ear drum. …doesn’t need to do so… It fits perfectly to the bestial and blasting Black Noise eruptions, which are venomous, chaotic, sadistic and destructive in all possible ways. This is the ultimate symbiosis of Abruptum, Beherit, Sarcofago (the album even includes a Sarcofago-cover, Hate, in a rather hateful version), Archgoat and Blasphemy. …yet more extreme and evil??? Indeed, this is no bla, nor bla bla! This is un-blablabla-material for the sickest minds amongst us.
Personal irritation: the production is much too ridiculously shitty. Smelly feet do stink, you know…
