German quintet War From A Harlot’s Mouth is a Hardcore band that constantly is switching from melodic to jazzy interludes and more. War From A Harlot’s Mouth throws everything they have. Burning Skies is an English Deathcore band from Bristol that not only share the same record company, both bands share the same drummer.

So this a cool concept. Friends making a record together and to surprise everyone, the bands cover a song from each other after first 3 songs by War From A Harlot's Mouth followed by 3 songs of Burning Skies. It’s refreshing, original and a great concept. But to be honest these bands should have put more time in the songs than being friends with each other. There is big genre difference on the album that anyone can notice and the production level could be higher.

Great concept, just a pity of so many details that bring the whole picture down.

71/100
