Oh my...why do things like this still happen? I mean, the real fan of the Modern Rock/Metal phenomenon that is Papa Roach doés have each and every album in his/ her collection, right? I mean, they most probably also have quite a few of the EP's that have been released over the years?

And here comes Geffen with a collection of songs by the band that is nothing more than the proverbial flogging of a dead horse! Just so you're warned, here's what you get! Two tracks off the band's 2000 album Infest, 2 songs off their 2002 album lovehatetragedy, 3 songs off the 2004 Getting Away With Murder album (after all, that was the first issued through Geffen), 2 songs off 2006's The Paramour Sessions, one song off the 2009 EP Naked & Fearless, the track “Forever” n a live version (as issued on the 2007 iTunes digital EP Live Sesson), 2 tracks off the 2009 album Metamorphosis, and to end the album you get an acoustic version of “Scars” (normal version also on this compilation), which was apparently released as a 2004 Geffen single.

In other words: everything on this compilation may already be in the true collection of the die-hard fans...and still i'm sure those same people will be the first to buy this album anyway. Peer pressure, you know! I hear these guys are still popular I a big way with the younger music fans among us!? Compilation...so I'm exempt from rating it...which is a good thing for once, because as far as originality goes, this compilation's material would not rate very high! Oh...shouldn't I have said that? Well, I've never really liked the far too slick sounds of this band, you know! Even if I've occasionally nodded my head along one or two of these and other songs by the band, their music is in essence made to be liked by an as broad possible audience...commercialism in music? Yuck!!!
