Halle-fucking-lujah! Taking Dawn is a new young hard rock band on the label Roadrunner Records.

The foursome from Las Vegas was formed in 2006 and is inspired by glam metal. With old school glam metal bands like for instance Mötley Crüe, Ratt and WASP still producing albums, the genre never died, but recently there is a revival of the genre with new bands like for instance Steel Panther, Crazy Lixx and Taking Dawn. Halle-fucking-lujah! Taking Dawn has a vintage feel with the genre and also adds some modern influences to it. It’s sleazy, it’s swinging, it’s catchy. “Time To Burn” contains 11 songs (9 party songs and 2 ballads) and has a playing time of 40 minutes. Highlights of the album are the opening track and title track “Time To Burn”, “Like A Revolution”, the ballad “Close Your Eyes”, “Godless”, “Fight ‘Em With Your Rock ”, another ballad “Endlessly” and the last track is a cover version of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain”.

Halle-fucking-lujah!
