After landing a deal with Nightmare Records, Seven Kingdoms released their second album via this label, their debut album being an independent release. What else can there be said about this band, coming form Florida USA? Well, that it’s a female fronted band for instance.

They play more or less in the same league as Evanescence, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica and others, but vocally it’s leaning less towards opera and more towards real metal, although Sabrina Valentine has a great range, but also a warm and sometimes even melancholic sound.

All songs are rather speedy, with lots of tempo changes, intermezzos.  Sadly I cannot find a track that stands out amongst the others, which might mean that although musically excellently performed, there’s not enough variation on the album, something that in this genre happens rather frequently I’m afraid.
