Band: A-Life Divided A-life divided was formed eight years ago and were originally a progressive rock band. But due to change of interests, they’ve changed their direction combining Rock, Metal, Electro, Goth and industrial elements together. With the combination of these elements, they set off to record two albums and various tours. So it’s definitely a band with a bit of history, but unfortunately the guys have no clue about making promo. Being a German based band, they didn’t seem to know that not a lot of other countries don’t speak the same language and therefore there is no information about them available (unless you speak German). Heart on Fire is a single that is making the way for the upcoming full album and will make people interested. The combination of the different music elements give it on one side a “Depeche Mode” feel and sound and on the other side a 80’s rock band (like Bon Jovi) but with a more modern sound. Apart from their mistake to don’t put up some English translated info about them, the single does pull you attention and makes you curious for their upcoming album. But keep in mind that the music has lots of layers and keyboards and sounds on it and that it’s more softer than the average rock/goth/industrial/….. album. But then again this is only a single with only 3 songs on it. 68/100 Jeroen. |
