All Ends is an alternative and metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden and was founded in 2003 as a side project of In Flames guitarists Jesper Strömblad and Björn Gelotte and, (currently no longer part of the crew). Later that year when the line up (the original) was completed a demo containing 5 songs was recorded but wasn’t released until the spring of 2005 when Michael Håkansson took over bass duties and Fredrik Johansson and Peter Mårdklint joined the band and took over guitar duties.

But the ball really started rolling in November 2007 when they released their self-titled debut album. This album showed what the band had and got them the opportunity to play at Earthshaker Roadshock Tour alongside bands like Tarot, Fintroll and After Forever that very same year. In the meanwhile we are a couple of years later and although their big opportunities, different line up changes and other releases, the band doesn’t resemble one thing with In flames due to the origins of the band and the previous guitar players. Instead, it evolved into more of a “accessible rock with an edge” band with lots of variation. The record also is well balanced and every instrument comes out crystal clear as if each has their own moment to shine. Little trouble to hear the difference between the 2 female vocalists though.

Nice to listen to but in a more passive way as relaxing background music.
