Nostradameus is a Swedish band that's been around for quite some time, but never managing the definite breakthrough.  Will their sixth album Illusion's Parade manage to do this?

The album starts very strong with "Walk Of Pain", a very good and heavy track which shows the band does have some talented guitarists, as well as a very good vocalist.  Scorching guitar licks, good melodies...  The second song is also very good, as is song number 3.  But then it starts to go a bit downhill.  Not that the other songs are bad, but they lack a bit in variation. So as far as I'm concerned this will not be the big breakthrough for Nostradameus.  But if they can improve their songwriting, who knows what the next album might bring ?
