Hailing forth from the Copenhagen heavy metal scene is Forcentury. The band consists of six members: Johnn  (vocals), Marc (guitar), Jens-Christian (guitar), Iver (bass), Andreas – (keys) and Jonas (drums).

Vanguard is the debut album of Danish metalheads Forcentury. The album is a 9 track disc witch are very different from each other, and you can recognize different styles of metal like. speed metal, power metal, thrash, and progressive rock and metal. the songs are definitely melodic, heavy, and dramatic, and seem to go towards the progressive way of the metal genre. Although this may seem like an album to look forward to, it actually is a disappointment. They have talent, you can notice (hear it) it from the way they play. But sound, vocals, mood (the whole package what makes a band awesome) seems to be not present on this album and after already 3 songs I got tired of listening to them.

It feels like they lack the skill to make the music epic and instead make it feel fake.
