Band : AC/DC If you're a genuine AC/DC fan you won't have to buy this box for the Music. And if you bought the "Backtracks" box, there"s really not much of interest to you, except the "Shoot To Thrill" video, where you get AC/DC, mixed with some shots from the movie, and some pretty girls as well. Besides that clip, all that might be of interest to a real fan is the "The making of'Shoot To Thrill' Music Video". Now what else can be said about a band who's been around for the last 35 + years. They've had their ups and downs, and nobody would have thougt it possible for them to bounce back after Bonn Scottdied in 1980, but bounce back they did. It's neigh to impossible for me to tell which AC/DC period I prefer, the Bonn Scott years, or the Brian Johnson period. Both Bonn and Brian have their own distinct style of singing, but Bonn I find had more charisma, he gave me the feeling of an animal that was just released. The songs on this album give a fine example of the career these guys have had with tracks coming from a lot of albums. Likewise, the DVD spans their career, with some songs featuring Bonn, and others Brian. So this is a must buy only for those of you who really want every last bit of AC/DC that's released. 70/100 Erik Morren. |
