Looking for a not that average rock ‘n roll band? Try Valient Thorr.

Their main influence clearly is rock ‘n roll, but they aren’t scared to add some new stuff to their sound.
Stranger already is their fifth release and their fourth for Volcom Entertainment. They never did label changes, which is quite remarkable for a band touring all around the world.
The first three songs already are very good examples of ‘not that average rock ‘n roll songs’. In the second track, "Sleeper Awakes", you can hear clear punk influences like The Ramones did it decades ago. The fourth song, "Double Crossed", is one of the best songs on the album. Very easy to sing-a-long and move along to. I guess that’s what rock ‘n roll is all about. Sing-a-longs, hands-clapping, … it’s all included in this song. Everything I have said so far applies to the rest of the album. Rock ‘n roll at its very best ! This must be one hell of a live performance.

This is the reason why Elvis Presley once started making music … I guess.
