Band: Titus Tommy Gunn Titus Tommy Gunn are a project by Acid Drinkers / former Virgin Snatch (¹) -member Tomasz ‘Titus’ Pukacki (bass, vocals), with assistance by Viking (drums; Heavy Weight, Short Fuse) and Tomasz ‘Lemmy’ Olszewski (guitars; ex-Creation Of Death, also in the legendary Polish band Turbo during the early nineties). He started this project last year, and La Perenatica Svavolya is the debut full length.
[(¹): look out for the review of the new album, Act Of Grace, coming up in a few weeks on the site - it] The album brings a form of eighties-oriented Speed Metal with crossover-elements from Heavy Metal / NWOBHM, Punk, Thrash Metal, and ‘Motörhead-goes-Rock’n’Roll’. Every track comes with a joyful energy and a headbang-inviting drive, (un-)refreshing, uncompromising, stinking and totally drunk. The song structures are built out of the most pure and elemental basics, far away from poppy catchiness or false self-worship, yet with the necessary arrogance and bad-ass-mentality. Consider it a mixture of Guns ‘n’ Roses, Motörhead, Acid Drinkers, Venom, Warfare and Chrome Division. 80/100 Ivan Tibos. |
