7days started out as a project in 2004. A Guy named Markus Sigfridsson found that he had alot of material (written songs) that was just laying around, but never could find the wright people to make these into real songs. But after a while he started to find some interested and interesting people.
First to join the band was ex-bass player of Harmony Andreas Passmark (Narnia, Divinefire) who also informed Markus about the drummer/session drummer Daniel Flores (X-Saviour). To complete the lineup Markus was introduced to singer Thomas Vikström (Talk of the Town, Stormwind and more) by Christian Rivel, who later also offered a deal for 7days on his label Rivel Reocrds (Liljegren Records), and the lineup was complete. The first album "The weight of the world" was released in 2006 and recieved some positive reviews.
Now Markus and 7days are back with the long awaited follow up album "Into Forever". Now to be honest I’m not really a melodic metal fan. And although this isn’t my cup of tea, I will try to be objective. The first flaws you’ll notice are the sound and production quality. Overall the sound of drum and guitars and… aren’t that bad but the sound of the keyboards could be a lot better. These sound like an old school Nintendo or something. Than the lack of production quality, at several points during the album there are interruptions during the songs witch are very annoying. Maybe these guys are good musicians, but due to the lack of quality on other subjects that make this album/band, I really wouldn’t spend my money on this.
