It seems that it’s not only nowadays that good music is widely ignored. Founded by organ/piano/moog player Steve Stephens this early 70’s outfit never won major recognition. Rayburn mix gentle vocal harmonies with some superb progressive rock elements. Guitarist Jimmy Roberts dominates throughout with stylistically varied playing, tasteful leads and assertive rocking chords. Add to this a prog infused keyboard presence, solid composition and production, a seamless flow from one track to the next, and you've got an impressive hour of music.

Rayburn delivers a terrific blend of two classic, and thankfully less overlooked, bands –Vanilla Fudge and Gentle Giant.
