Band : Angelus Apatrida Angelus Apatrida is a Spanish Thrash Metal band that was formed around March 2000 in. They are one of the most influential bands in the Spanish Trash Metal scene together with other bands like Legen Beltza, Killem and Rancor. But it wasn’t always like that. At the beginning they were an old school Heavy and Power Metal band and recorded 2 demos in this period: Lost in the Realms of Orchinodaemon (2001) and Unknown Human Being (2003). Later on when the band switched to the Thrash Metal genre, they released 3 albums (this being their third). And this album not only screams metal, it makes you want to scream. Thrash Metal at its best that can compete with some of the best Thrash Metal bands out there that even the Bay Area can give. Their concept is simple just plain hard en technical metal, no fancy over de top shows. This formula has leaded them to the top of the Spanish metal scene and wil lead them to the international top. This is something for fans of Testament, Slayer and Kreator. (+ extra bonus, they have a brilliant Iron Maiden cover). 93/100 Jeroen. |
