Terra Nova is a Dutch band that was formed at the beginning of the nineties. Their debut album Livin' It up came out in 1996.  Mastermind of this group were brothers Fred and Ron Hendrix.

Between 1996 and 1999 they brought out two more albums, but in 1999, due to problems with their Dutch record company, they called it a day and split up. Fred Hendrix continued his musical career in different solo projects however. Some six years after their split, Frontiers Records approached Fred, and asked him to bring the band back to life and release a new album. This was done in 2007, when they brought out the Two Of A Kind Album

Finally in 2008 they headed back to the studio to record their fifth studio album Come Alive.  One way or another they were even able to bring the original Terra Nova line up together again. What can I tell about this new album? Well it's a damn good one. Excellent vocal work by Fred Hendrix, and the keyboards are fantastic. The album contains 10 songs, all quite enjoyable to listen to. While listening to this album I got hints of Journey, Survivor, Night Ranger not surprisingly all bands that dominated the world of AOR music back in the eighties, and that's exactly the sound this album brings back.

If you are into AOR, then this album is worth a listening.
