Like so many bands in the doom metal genre, Candlemass/ Warning/ Reverend Bizarre’s influence is apparent throughout this release.

Though a lot of this material moves along at approximately 25 miles per hour, the band has the ability to occasionally catch a good groove or show a smart instrumental bridge. With just 8 songs averaging six minutes in length each, the overall effect of this German band first full-length release is of epic proportions. Wheel is above average but I think this German quartet needs to try harder and dig deeper on the next album to try and define their sound rather than just mixing the sounds of others
