Big Ball. A band coming from Germany, but sounding like... an ACDC clone, even down to the vocals.

Now over the years there have been numerous bands influenced by, or trying to sound like ACDC.  take for instance Swiss rockers Krokus (although personally I think they were or are still better than ACDC themselves, because they write their songs with much more variation), Airbourne etcetera.
So is there a real need for another ACDC clone ?  I guess not, but rather give me 100 ACDC clones to listen to instead of the umpteenth rapper who thinks he's the next best thing next to God...

With this knowledge I tried to listen to this album without prejudice.  And I must admit it is not a bad effort at all.  It's exactly the same balsy, boogie rock ACDC uses to play.  Of course if you compare this singer to Bonn Scott, it's like comparing heaven to hell.  None come close to what Bonn did in his heydays.
As to the songs Big Ball have written.  They are good, decent songs, but lacking some variation.
So for ACDC fans this is a must buy, while waiting for a new album of the masters themselves, that is if ever there's going to be another album.

70/100
