Review: CD

What The Order Of Apollyon bring with The Flesh might be one of the heaviest things in years!
This album stands for forty minutes of extremely intense, overwhelming and brutal (Post) Black Metal with a deadly and industrialised edge. The fast, energetic sonic attacks are filled with fierce tempo-changes, blasting eruptions, some slower parts, and the sound is hammering and crushing. Sometimes the whole sounds rather mechanic, but in this band’s case an organic sound would minimalise and inferiorise the whole. The technical compositions lack of modern gadgets, and at the same time the crushing production lifts the whole up to an infernal dimension.
As from the sublime intro God Speaks, The Flesh is mercilessly capturing and suffocating, and the uncomfortable approach is just unique.
Impressing soundtrack for the After-World!
