Band: Bloom Bloom is a alternative indie rock band from the U.K.. The line up consists of Tony Fair (bass), Brian Rimmer (drums), Andy Race (vocals & guitar) and Richard Fewings (guitar). The first thing that makes them interesting is that they are really shy or just really stupid, having only a myspace page (with very little info) and a website that doesn’t work. In the little info I could find, they try to explain that the music they create is inspired by bands pearl jam and kings of leon. When you listen to the album, you’ll notice the similarities and know why they made the link to those bands. Unfortunately it seems that they can’t reach to that level and Andy Race’s voice doesn’t really have that roughness.
The rest of the album is ok. It’s not great but they played it safe with as a result that there are some pleasant soft rock ballads on the disc witch are pleasant to listen to at the end of the day 72/100 Jeroen. |
