CD REVIEW Last Autumn's Dream

Seventh studio album already for this Swedish/ German combo. And this for a band that only exists since 2002! One cannot say they are not productive enough.

Since they tragically lost their former bass player Marcel Jacob (Talisman) they've found a suitable replacement in Nalley Pahlsson.

Now if you have followed this band's career, you know they can write and perform a decent melodic rock song, and this album shows just that.  There's even a surprise on this album, under the form of "See my baby jive", a very poppy song, but it sounds very refreshing and stays in your head.
They also did a cover from Cheap Trick's "Surrender", but this does not bring a new edge to this song, I do prefer the original version. Do I have to remind you that Mikael Erlandsson is a great vocalist? I hope not. He's melodious, but can be gritty.

So once again a good album for LAD.  Let's hope they can continue churning out these good quality albums in the future.
