Nemhain, named after the mythological Celtic Goddess of battle fury, consists of 2 cock bitches Amber Erlandsson - vox & words (previous stage performer - Motorhead/COF) and  Lisa Witch - bass & vox and 3 rock studs Lakis - guitar (Area 54/Love & Bullets), Sam Astley - guitar (Ewws/Sangeeta)  and Adrian Erlandsson - drums (former ATG/ The Haunted/ COF), who have gained loads of experience in various bands. They now join forces and crank out twelve songs in about 40 minutes time on this debut album. It’s beyond a doubt that all involved had a great time recording this album. I admit that I rarely enjoy female fronted hard rock. Although only a debut, you easily spot the talent of this rocking unit Their music isn’t hard to describe, it’s a mixture of metal, punk and gothic that has the quality to appeal to a broad audience. Needless to say, that influences of L7, Evanscence and Girlschool are strongly present, but I also hear influences of the The Ramones, Danzig and Motorhead on this one.

One to watch.
