I must admit I never really closely followed the previous Soul Doctor albums. Although I'd heard a few songs from them before, and judging from them thought they didn't sound bad, there's so much other stuff out there you can't really expect one to buy - and listen to them all.

But when I got this album to write a review I was pleasantly surprised. Especially since I was a little disappointed by the latest Gotthard album (I know, some of you are gonna crucify me for writing these words - but hey, this is my personal opinion after all), this, to me, could be Germany's response to Gotthard. The songs themselves are not especially outstanding, but they are well written, well performed, with a good mix of hard rock and some bluesy elements in between. If you like Tommy Heart  on vocals, then this certainly is a must buy.  For all Gotthard and ACDC fans, you should definitely give this a try.

A final word, before I complete this review: luckily for us music lovers, there still exist some people who want to give good musicians a chance, especially in this economically very difficult period, where even major labels are struggling.  Thx Georg.
