Upon hearing the first song from this album I thought I was listening to Evanescence's debut album again, albeit with different songs. This is just as good as Evanescence was: a combination of Gothic rock with great melodies and some orchestral influences.

I do hope that they get discovered soon. I recall that I bought the first Evanescence CD when I was on a city trip in Barcelona, and that it took more than a year before they gained any airplay in the rest of Europe. The founder of the band was Daniel Flores, whom you might remember from Mind's Eye or Fatal Force. This is music with large riffs, a never relentless rhythm section, and my God, does this singer, Angelica Rylin have a fantastic voice, as well as being endowed with good looks.

Pretty strange such an album comes out on Frontiers Records, but hell, who am I to complain about it. It's a great album. How they came up with such a strange name? It seems the idea was taken from a 40ies movie title Murder, My Sweet
