A surprisingly good effort from this young band, Trippy Wicked & The Cosmic Children Of The Knight’s sound can best be described as a fuzzy and catchy adaptation of the area explored by other bands such as Josiah, Lowrider, Orange Goblin and Wolfmother. Move On doesn't rock consistently enough for those solely interested in banging their head but offers something with substantially more depth for those seeking substance as well and have at least a lot in common with the stoner genre, as the guitars are dense and fuzzy, plodding around at most times rather than racin’.

“Movin on” and “Sea shanty”are angry, assaultive not particularly subtle, but bursting with effective and pointed songwriting. Vocalist Pete Holland commands the troops with his Ozzymeets Daniel Davies (Year Long Disaster) meets Michael Monroe vocal style, he sings with melody at times, and even throws in the occasional primal scream. “Echoes ” throws some cool psych guitar twanging and nice trumpet at you.“Innocence” and “Because of you” are more drifting dino-rock tracks and will please Soundgarden, Monster Magnet and even Electric Wizard fans. “Southern” showcase the bluesy -esque feel of their music best, Pete Holland’s vox taking centre stage There are weaker songs here, the QOTSA-like “Clothes on my floor” and the Josiah-like “Water” seem to lack a little something, although both are played with the same impeccable taste and feeling the rest of the album displays, so they certainly aren't bad songs, just don't compare with the finest moments here.

Very potent release with plenty of power and intricate moments that are noteworthy.
