Review: CD

I can be short about this new Lost Soul-album: it makes all former releases disappear!

Maybe it has to do with the long preparation, but what Lost Soul bring with Immerse In Infinity is absolutely their strongest result to date. As a matter of fact, this album must be one of the highlights within the Death Metal scene this year. Only eight songs, rather complex and unconventional, yet with a total running time of fifty five minutes (!); but the long average duration does not disappoint or annoy one single second. Why? Because these rather tracks are so inventive, so intelligently written, so professionally recorded, so nicely performed. Praise the Lord of the Deep for blessing the members with superb skills and a perfect unholy marriage experience-knowledge!

This is brutal madness, yet with technical superiority. This is harsh aggression, but with attention for variation and conviction. This is blasting terror, yet again the whole comes with a splendid attitude of war-lust and mercilessness. And the sound, well: massive, monumental, ulterior.

Any question?
