Disbelief is a metal band from Germany and was formed in 1990, but did not gained a solid line-up for several years. They began with Karsten Jäger Markus Gnap, Denis Musiol and Aliver Lenz They released their first demo the following year. After two more demo tapes, five years, and the replacement of Gnap and Musiol with Kai Bergerin, Jochen Trunk and Tommy Fritsch, they released their self-titled album in 1997. Their second one came a year later in 1998. And so on and so on.
To describe their music I would say that it has it’s roots in death metal, but with melodic and doom metal influences. And this is a good and powerful combination that the band knows how to use. And the album kicks of in an awesome way but to be honest, half of the songs lack that certain feeling to give them a higher value and a more cool vibe/feeling. The rest of the songs due have that and I can’t find one bad thing about them, except that it’s death metal a like and that I’m not a big death metal fan, but that’s just being picky.

83/100
