CD REVIEW Maroon 5

Band: Maroon 5
Album title: Misery
Label: A&M

It seems quite logical to find a review here of Maroon, the crushing metalcore machine from Germany, but if we add a 5 to that band, we find ourselves in a totally different genre.
The poprockers of Maroon 5 are about to release a brand new album, called Hands All Over. They have released lots of singles a few years ago, but then all of a sudden, things were very quiet around Maroon 5. Now they are back with the first single of the new album, which is entitled Misery.
As almost every other song from Maroon 5, Misery is about love and how painful loving someone can be. Singer Adam Levine proves in this song once again that his voice is crystal bright and that he can make his voice really flow, which can be heard clearly in the beginning of the song. The song is very catchy and it really puts a smile on your face.
A song that will haunt the radio stations for some weeks to come I guess.

80/100
