Will First Signal become the reincarnation of the late Harem Scarem?  Men, I was thrilled to get the opportunity to review this CD, as I have always been a great admirer of Harry Hess. I remember when I bought my copy of Harem Scarem's Mood Swings way back in 1993.  Both that album and Enuff'z'Enuff's Animals with Human Intelligence still regularly find their way to my CD player.

This new project is an alliance between Harry Hess and Dennis Ward, so you can be absolutely sure it's quality stuff.  But can it stand the comparison with the real stuff, Harem Scarem?  Yes it can. Just like on the Harem Scarem albums, there's a good mix between slower, balladesque songs, and real rockers.  And Harry still sounds as good as ever before. Songs were written by a team of songwriters, like Tom and James Martin (Khymera, Sunstorm, House Of Lords), Erik Martensson (W.E.T., Eclipse), Ronny Milianowicz (Saint Deamon) and others. My favourite tracks on this album are "Crazy", "This City", "Part Of Me", but I could easily name them all.

I, and with me many other Harem Scarem fans hope that this is not a one time project, but that this will continue.  That or the big prize, Harem Scarem coming back together again....
