Band : Jon Mullane If you're into mainstream Melodic Rock/AOR eighties style than this album seems to be just what you've been looking for. Personally I admit it's not really my cup of tea. I'll explain. Jon Mullane got the aid of two ex Harem-Scarem members, Pete Lesperance on guitars, and Creighton Doane on drums, Creighton who accidently also co-wrote and produced this album. This I hoped would have cranked up the CD a bit, and at times it does, but there are other moments when you're thinking, hey this sounds a bit like Rick Springfield, there's even a song that sounds a bit like The Cars, so at the end you get no real consistency throughout the entire album. Not that it's altogether a bad album, you won't hear me say that, but I find it hard to listen it out in 1 go. 65/100 Erik Morren. |
