From the big A, Belgium comes Mount Venus, a band that injects a healthy dose of post-, indie-, and progressive rock into their sound on debut release Like A Second Sun. The resulting amalgam of these influences makes for a very pleasant listening experience. The guitar work on the album is pretty tasty, as the two players obviously listen to Mogwai, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead and Isis.  Like A Second Sun features several hauntingly serene instrumental sections, which are arguably the album's strongest point. The only instrumental “Libidozed” is  post rock of nearly the finest order – crisp, clean and full of emotional guitar leads.

If you are a fan of the above mentioned bands you will probably really like this album.. Check it out!
