Stratosphere is a Scandinavian Quintet that mixes symphonic, progressive and melodic rock. The band was created by Jeppe Lund and is aided by Goran Edman on lead vocals. To complete the line up we have guitarist Jonas Larsen, Jim McCarty on drums and Anders Borre Mathieson on bass who all are artists with a reputation for their skills.

And their skills all show off on this album called Fire Fight. Like I said, the album is a combination of progressive, melodic rock and symphonic elements, witch are very common these days and especially from the part of the world where they come from. Now apart from that fact, this band is one of the few that succeeds in making every song on the record sound different and unique. Witch isn’t that easy if you compare to a lot of bands these days. For the rest I’ve got nothing bad to say about these guys. Solid album (maybe a bit short) with lots of variation on it.
