Even on the isle of Malta rock music is being made.  And pretty decent music it is.

This album war originally released in 2006, but never made it out of Malta, except maybe a few copies bought by tourists.  After the release of their second album ‘Thrill Me’, Avenue Of Allies deemed it necessary to re-release their debut album, and even added some bonus tracks.

Fire’s style of music is eighties hard rock music, you’ve probably heard it all before, but it’s very pleasing to the ear, and for such a small island they’ve succeeded in presenting us a very good band, with a class vocalist as well.  Hey, and at times they even succeed in mixing in some unusual hooks.
This is the kind of band I’d like to see perform live, cause they’ve got the ability to cheer up the crowd, and get the club to a boiling point if you’d ask me.
The added bonus tracks are not what you’d call unexpendable, it’s a cover from Bryan Adams ‘Run to you’ and a Christmas song ‘Miss You This Christmas’, originally released as a radio single in December 2007.

I think I’ll start searching on internet for their second album ‘Thrill me’, to check if it’s equally good as this one.

90/100
